Time Doesn’t Heal All of Wounds, But Unconscious Healing Can
Time doesn’t cure all wounds, this just gives all of them space to kitchen sink into the subconscious, where they will still impact your emotions and habits. What heals is going inward, loving yourself, accepting yourself, listening to your needs, dealing with your attachments and emotional history, learning how to let go and adhere to your intuition.

It might be the elephant in the area, but it needs to be stated. Covid-19 is promoting us. We all, in some way, are coupled to the loss. We now have lost family members and friends, the businesses we all poured our minds and souls in to for so long happen to be forced to close, our own jobs have suddenly been furloughed, the income has ceased abruptly, and the essential connection– human connection has been acutely cut off. Using of this change comes a slow and staggering trauma to the systems whether we have been ready to notice it yet, I’m not sure.
What I have got noticed is the signs and symptoms from that stress rising up, collectively. The symptoms teeter-totter between fear of the not known and the resulting apathy or hopelessness that will forms from in this fear for nearly a year now. We are easily triggered, pressed to our edges along with family members at risk, less money, and our children carrying out school in the family room. The actual question is, exactly how are we processing this trauma and exactly how are we going to make it to the some other side stronger compared to before?
I believe the answer is based on the question and that this particular trauma must be acknowledged and processed. I personally have always been curious about trauma and what makes some stand by means of some of the most difficult challenges in history and make it to the other side, and what makes others continue to endure for long periods of time after the trauma.

However , unlike animals, many of us may have a hard time closing down our stress response after a threatening experience because all of us continue to ruminate about this or anticipate an identical danger. The level to which different people can move on and then confront similar traumas in the future is linked to their upbringing and character. ”

With all this particular being said, In my opinion that yes, our own childhood experiences, upbringing, and genetic temperament for handling stressors contribute significantly to the ability to process trauma, but I also think that there has to be something beyond our past to help those that struggle with resiliency right now.
I myself have been on this journey as I look for ways to undertake trauma to the various other side and find a place of peace. The journey has brought me personally to alternative recovery therapies, specifically depths of the mind healing as I discover that our trauma settles there and resides long after the experience is over. We only find it rear its ugly head when something triggers us plus sends us right back to the original feelings felt as if virtually no time has passed at all.
